A medial strut support according to the present invention comprises: a plate-like strut (1) including a to-be-fixed potion (4(b)) to be contacted with the medial side of the ankle joint extending from the medial side of the calcaneus to the medial malleolus, and an inversion prevention portion (4(a)) that is formed integrally with the to-be-fixed potion (4(b)) and is to be located above the medial malleolus and a fixing member that fixes the to-be-fixed potion (4(b)) of the strut (1) by pressing the to-be-fixed potion (4(b)) against the medial side of the ankle joint extending from the medial side of the calcaneus to the medial malleolus. The inversion prevention portion (4(a)) of the strut (1) is not fixed by the fixing member at all, whereas the to-be-fixed potion (4(b)) of the strut (1) is pressed against and fixed to the medial side of the ankle joint extending from the medial side of the calcaneus to the medial malleolus by the fixing member.
