PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in diffusibility and dryness and excellent in fitness because of a small and thin lower layer absorber by making an absorption layer in an upper and lower two-layer structure and controlling the size, thickness, and density of each of the upper layer absorber and the lower layer absorber to cause the upper layer absorber to diffuse body fluid and the lower layer absorber to play a role of holding the body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeable back sheet, and an absorption layer placed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorption layer contains flap pulp and high absorbent resin, the upper layer absorber and the lower layer absorber provided nearer on the skin non-contact surface than the upper layer absorber are layered and arranged from a front part to a rear part via a crotch part.
