The present invention provides a contact lens sterilizing device which can sufficiently sterilize contact lenses (13). The contact lens sterilizing device comprises: a treatment tank (35) which accommodates a first medium and is provided with a vibration transmission part in the lower section thereof a lens case (11) which is detachably disposed in the treatment tank (35) and mountably disposed on the vibration transmission part, and which accommodates the contact lenses (13) and a second medium an ultrasonic vibrator (22) for generating ultrasonic vibrations and transmitting the ultrasonic vibrations to the vibration transmission part and an ultrasonic vibrator driving means (22) for driving the ultrasonic vibrator (22) to thereby produce hydroxyl radicals in the second medium. The contact lenses (13) can be sufficiently sterilized as a result of the ultrasonic vibrator (22) being driven to thereby produce hydroxyl radicals in the second medium. In addition, it is possible to simplify the sterilizing process since the contact lenses (13) can be sterilized in an extremely short amount of time without having to neutralize a processing liquid after sterilizing has finished.
