The invention relates to a three-part ring cover for mulching of plants consisting of an assembly (1), which is essentially a plate having circular shape and being made of three segments (2, 3, 4). The assembly (1), i.e. the segments (2, 3, 4) consist of three annular rims (6, 7, 8), which protrude vertically in relation to the base of the assembly (1) and have cross section in the shape of the Cyrillic letter P. Outer and inner vertical walls of rims (6, 7, 8) have been perforated, i.e. openings (9, 9) have been made therein, wherein the openings (9) on the outer walls are mutually angularly shifted in relation to the openings (9) on the inner walls of the rims (6, 7, 8). The rims (6, 7, 8) of the segments (2, 3, 4) are interconnected by means of radially directed ribs (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) intended for stiffening of the cover and collection of rainfall. In the segments (2, 3, 4), i.e. in the assembly (1) have been made recesses, i.e. collecting surface areas (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22). In each of the surface areas (22) of the segments (2, 3, 4) has been made a groove (25).Pronalazak se odnosi na trodelnu prstenastu pokrivku za malčiranje biljaka koja se sastoji od sklopa (1) koji je u osnovi ploča kružnog oblika i koga čine tri segmenta (2, 3, 4). Sklop (1), odnosno segmenti (2, 3, 4), sastoje se od tri prstenasta venca (6, 7, 8) koji su u odnosu na osnovu sklopa (1) vertikalno izdignuti i u poprečnom preseku su oblika čiriličnog slova P. Spoljašnji i unutrašnji vertikalni zidovi venaca (6, 7, 8) su perforirani, odnosno izvedeni su sa otvorima (9, 9), pri čemu su otvori (9) na spoljašnjim zidovima i otvori (9) na unutrašnjim zidovima venaca (6, 7, 8) međusobno ugaono pomereni. Venci (6, 7, 8) segmenata (2, 3, 4) međusobno su povezani radijalno usmerenim rebrima (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) za ukrućenje pokrivke i sakupljanje padavina.
