The present invention relates to a dual-bearing reel, which is to reduce an outer shape of a reel of an operation member side for selecting a braking mode. The dual-bearing reel of the present invention comprises: a braking device for braking rotation of a spool； and a mode selecting unit (50) installed on a spool support unit, and selects a braking mode of the braking device at a rotation position of an operation member (60). The operation member (60) is supported to be rotated around a position separated from the center (C) of a first side plates (17a) of a side of forming an opening for detaching and attaching a spool of a reel main body (11), by a support axis (52) biased to one side from the center of a long diameter projected in an axial direction of the spool of the operation member (60).
