PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper equipped with a character indication which easily attracts the attention in wearing and is excellent in visibility of characters.SOLUTION: In an underpants type disposable diaper, three-dimensional gathers 90 are respectively provided on both sides in a width direction of an interior body 10. A laying part 93 of the three-dimensional gather 90 includes a laying, non-stretchable part 97 where contracting force of a gather elastic, stretchable member 96 does not act.
