PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance portability and operability of endoscopes with regard to a manually-operated pump for endoscopes for supplying air and water to a tubular insertion section to be inserted into the inside of a subject.
SOLUTION: When air is supplied to the electronic endoscope, an operator repeatedly performs compression operation of a rubber bulb 20 without pressing an air pipe selection button 25. By this, air inside the rubber bulb 20 is sent out from a first air pipe 23 since a second air pipe 24 is blocked. The air sent out from the first air pipe 23 is supplied to the electronic endoscope. In order to supply water to the electronic endoscope, the operator repeatedly performs compression operation of the rubber bulb 20 with pressing the air pipe election button 25. By this, the air inside the rubber bulb 20 is sent out of the second air pipe 24 since the first air pipe 23 is blocked. The air sent out of the second air pipe 24 is supplied to a water supply tank. When the air is supplied to the inside of the water supply tank, the internal pressure of the water supply tank increases, and a liquid in the tank is supplied to the electronic endoscope.
