PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assist device, an exercise assist method, and an exercise assist program capable of accurately determining an extent of an arm swing during exercising, properly conveying an exercising state to an exerciser, and inducing the exerciser to an appropriate exercising state.SOLUTION: An exercise assist device uses a terminal 100, which is worn on the upper arm of a user US, to grasp an exercising state of the user US including an arm swing angle, which is attained during exercising, on the basis of sensor data items acquired from an acceleration sensor 110 and an angular speed sensor 120, and appends evaluation information to the arm swing angle. An arm swing angle acquired during a subsequent exercising is compared with the arm swing angle to which the evaluation information is appended. Based on a result of the comparison, the user US is provided with exercise assist information for use in inducing the user to an appropriate exercising state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】運動動作中の腕振りの程度を正確に判断し、運動者に運動動作状態を適切に伝達するとともに、適正な運動動作状態に誘導することができる運動支援装置、運動支援方法及び運動支援プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】運動支援装置は、ユーザＵＳの上腕部に装着された端末１００において、加速度センサ１１０及び角速度センサ１２０から取得されたセンサデータに基づいて、ユーザＵＳの運動動作中の腕振り角度を含む運動動作状態を把握し、当該腕振り角度に対して評価情報を付与する。次回以降の運動動作において取得した腕振り角度と、評価情報の付与された腕振り角度とを比較し、その結果に基づいて適正な運動動作状態に誘導するための運動支援情報をユーザＵＳに提供する。【選択図】図３
