The present invention relates to a system for curing tinnitus based on virtual reality and a method for curing tinnitus using the same. The method comprises the following steps: (a) forming a tinnitus sound corresponding to the sound size and frequency similar to tinnitus state conditions of a user to the user wearing HMD； (b) forming a predetermined avatar image through HMD, fusing the formed image with the sound and forming a fusion sound； and (c) providing the fusion sound in virtual reality provided through HMD to the user and training the user.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 가상현실 기반 이명치료 시스템 및 그를 이용한 이명치료 방법에 관한 것으로서, (a) HMD를 착용한 사용자에게 사용자의 이명 상태 조건에 유사한 사운드 크기 및 주파수에 해당하는 이명 사운드를 형성하는 단계； (b) HMD를 통해 기설정된 아바타 이미지를 형성하고, 형성된 이미지를 사운드와 결합(fusion)하여 퓨전 사운드(fusion sound)를 형성하는 단계； 및 (c) HMD를 통해 제공되는 가상현실 속에서 퓨전 사운드를 사용자에게 제공하여 사용자를 훈련시키는 단계；를 포함한다.
