PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner that can efficiently reduce odors in room air.SOLUTION: An air cleaner A comprises a box-shaped housing that is used with being put on a floor, forms a ventilation flue R therein, and is provided with a plurality of wheels 90 on a bottom thereof, a deodorizing element 62 through which air introduced into the ventilation flue R passes, and control means 47. An upper surface part of the housing is equipped with a handle 91 having a grip 91a and an operation part 26 located closer to a front side than the handle 91. The deodorizing element 62 contains a catalyst capturing ammonia components. The control means 47 controls the ability of blowing means 44 so that the amount and flow rate of the air passing through the ventilation flue R become within predetermined ranges. A suction port 11 is formed in a wall surface on the front side of the housing.
