The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a hyperbranched polyester polyol derivative, comprising the following steps: a) reacting only glycidol and µ-caprolactone to obtain a hyperbranched polyester polyol in which caprolactone residues are randomly arranged； b) reacting the hyperbranched polyester polyol of step a) with a sulfation reagent to obtain a sulfated hyperbranched polyester polyol as hyperbranched polyester polyol derivative. Aspects of the invention relate to a hyperbranched polyester polyol derivative obtainable by this method as well as uses thereof.La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un dérivé de polyester polyol hyperramifié, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) réaction uniquement de glycidol et d'ε-caprolactone à une température s'étendant dans une plage comprise entre 40 °C et 140 °C pour obtenir un polyester polyol hyperramifié dans lequel des résidus caprolactones sont disposés de manière aléatoire； b) réaction du polyester polyol hyperramifié de l'étape a) avec un réactif de sulfatation pour obtenir un polyester polyol hyperramifié sulfaté comme dérivé de polyester polyol hyperramifié. Les aspects de l'invention concernent un dérivé de polyester polyol hyperramifié pouvant être obtenu par ce procédé ainsi que ses utilisations.
