PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation apparatus and a plant cultivation system which are capable of preventing occurrence of growth unevenness of plants associated with occurrence of temperature unevenness and wind speed unevenness in a space inside the plant cultivation apparatus, and capable of reducing extra work and cost required in installation, operation, maintenance or the like of air blowing means, and furthermore, capable of reducing an overall required space.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation apparatus 10 and a plant cultivation system 1 comprises: an illumination device 30 which irradiates plants 5 with light； and a heat exchanger 60 which cools air inside the plant cultivation apparatus 10, which are capable of generating convection of air inside the plant cultivation apparatus 10 by a density difference of air inside the plant cultivation apparatus 10 which is a density difference between air heated with irradiation from illumination device 30 and air cooled by the heat exchanger 60, and the plants 5 are arranged on a flow channel of convection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】植物栽培装置の内部の空間で温度むら及び風速むらが発生してしまう事に伴う、植物の育成むらの発生を防止する事が可能であると共に、送風手段の設置、稼働、及びメンテナンス等に要する手間や費用を削減する事が可能であり、さらに、全体として要するスペースを削減する事が可能な、植物栽培装置及び植物栽培システムを提供すること。【解決手段】植物栽培装置１０及び植物栽培システム１は、植物５に対して光を照射する照明装置３０と、当該植物栽培装置１０の内部の空気の冷却を行う熱交換器６０と、を備え、当該植物栽培装置１０の内部における空気の密度差であって、照明装置３０の照射に伴って加熱された空気と、熱交換器６０により冷却された空気との密度差によって、当該植物栽培装置１０の内部に空気の対流を発生させる事を可能とし、植物５を、対流の流路上に配置した。【選択図】図２
