PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile and inexpensive anterior teeth protection device for preventing injury of maxillary anterior teeth by a laryngoscope in a tracheal intubation and capable of responding to an emergency.SOLUTION: This anterior teeth protection device, used for covering the maxillary anterior teeth in the tracheal intubation using the laryngoscope, is formed of resin having elasticity and flexibility, is bent according to the maxillary anterior teeth, is molded to have a recessed cross section, and is formed with a site, that has a high possibility of receiving an impact and oppression due to the contact of the laryngoscope, formed thicker or harder than other sites in non-contact therewith, or provided with a reinforced portion.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】気管挿管時の喉頭鏡による上顎前歯の損傷を防止すると共に、緊急時にも対応可能で、汎用性の高い安価な前歯保護デバイスを提供すること。【解決手段】喉頭鏡を用いた気管挿管のさい、上顎前歯に覆着して用いるものであって、弾性及び可撓性を有する樹脂により、上顎前歯に適合して湾曲し、断面を凹形状に成形されてなり、前記喉頭鏡が接触し、衝撃や圧迫を受ける可能性の高い部位を、接触しない部位よりも肉厚に、あるいは、硬く形成するか、該部位に補強部を備えて構成した。【選択図】 図1
