PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical-volatilizing body provided by holding a carrier containing a chemical evaporating at normal temperature in a chemical container easy in assembling, comprising few elements, excellent in evaporating performance and hanging strength, requiring no large carrier for containing the chemical evaporating at normal temperature, capable of compactly housed, and usable at normal temperature not only by being hanged but also as a table type.
SOLUTION: The chemical-volatilizing body comprises a chemical container 1 having openings 3 at least on the front surface, the rear surface, and two side surfaces, wherein the area of the openings of the front surface and the rear surface (A1 and A2) are each set to be 10-50% of the area total of the font surface and the rear surface, and the area of the openings of the two side surfaces (B1 and B2) are each set to be 5-30% of the total area of the side surfaces, and the ratio [(B1 and B2)/(A1 and A2)] of the area of the front surface and rear surface (A1 and A2) to the area of the two side surfaces (B1 and B2) is set to be 0.005-0.3.
