PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and effective electrostimulation avoiding a danger, if a user erroneously wears a set of electrodes fewer than (n) when starting a therapy of outputting (n) outputs in an electrostimulator having (m) outputs, there are outputs from (n-1) sets of non-worn electrodes and the user in danger of touching thereto, by automatically determining the number of electrodes actually connected to an organism, automatically selecting an energization method according thereto and outputting it.SOLUTION: When the electrostimulator detects that there are (m) outputs and the electrodes are connected to the organism in a state of outputting the (n) electrodes out of them, this electrostimulator determines that the number of the outputs is (n) electrodes and prohibits to output from the electrodes other than those. This electrostimulator automatically select and output the energization pattern suited to the determined (n) electrodes.COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI【課題】m個の出力を有する電気刺激装置において、その中のn個の出力をおこなうようにして治療を開始した場合、間違えて、nよりも少ないl組の電極しか装着していないと、装着をしていない(n-l)組の電極からも出力があり、これに触れると危険である。本発明は、このような危険性を回避し、実際に接続されている電極数を自動的に判断し、これに応じた通電方法を自動選択して出力するようにして、安全で効果的な電気刺激を可能にすることを目的とする。【課題を解決する手段】m個の出力状態を検査し、その中のn個の出力が可能なように電極が生体に接続されているとき、出力数はn極と判断し、それ以外の電極からは出力しないように禁止するようにした。また、判断されたn極に適した通電パターンを自動的に選択して出力するようにした。【選択図】図1
