PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatilizer capable of preventing a liquid leak without causing cost increase.SOLUTION: A suction wick 17 sucking a liquid chemical 2 inside an container body 11 is inserted into an opening part 13 of a mouth part 12 of the container body 11 and is set. A cap 14 is mounted in the mouth part 12 to close the opening part 13. The cap 14 is formed with a weak part 37 into which the suction wick 17 is inserted, and can be formed with a tongue piece 43 wherein a part of the weak part 37 is stuck to the peripheral face 42 of the suction wick 17 in a state that the suction wick 17 is inserted into the weak part 37 to form an insertion hole 41.
