PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection assisting implement which can easily and surely connect an injection implement with the end section of a spital holder tube in which a wire is housed, or the proximal end section of a catheter as the wire housed in the holder tube, and to provide a catheter device which is equipped with the connection assisting implement.SOLUTION: The catheter device 10 includes: the catheter 16 having a shaft section 28 with flexibility the spiral holder tube 12 in which the catheter 16 has been housed a holder hub 14 which is installed on the end section of the holder tube 12 and the plate-like connection assisting implement 36. The connection assisting implement 36 is used when a syringe 26 is connected with a catheter hub 32 or the holder hub 14 located at the proximal end section of the catheter 16. On the holding surface 46 of the connection assisting implement 36, folding line sections 42, 44a and 44b which are bent into a valley form are formed.
