The invention further relates to a method for identifying bacteria effective in the protection from and/or the treatment of allergic diseases, chronic inflammatory and/or autoimmune diseases as well as to the use of such a bacterium/such bacteria for preparing a medicament, a pharmaceutical composition, a food additive or food ingredient, or a composition for indoor air distribution.
