PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized traveling-type reaping machine enabling reaping work on a slope to be conducted sideways of the machine body while keeping the machine bodys left and right balance well even at narrow levees such as in a medium mountainous area.
SOLUTION: The traveling-type reaping machine is provided with a traveling machine body 2 having right and left traveling parts 1L and 1R and a working implement 6 conducting reaping work for weeding or harvesting purpose sideways of the traveling machine body 2. This reaping machine also has such a balancing member 3 that, in conducting a reaping work on one side of the right and left flanks of the traveling machine body 2, the right and left balance of the traveling machine body 2 is kept on the other side.
