PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage composition and a heat attack preventive agent containing sodium of 31 mg or more per 100 ml of the beverage and excellent in palatability.SOLUTION: The beverage composition contains sodium of 31 mg or more and 74 mg or less per 100 ml of a beverage, calcium of 0.10 mg or more per 100 ml of the beverage, iron of 1.0 mass ppb or more and manganese of 0.2 mass ppb or more. The heat attack preventive agent consists of the beverage composition and the sodium content is 40 mg or more per 100 ml of the beverage. The beverage composition or the like preferably contains further 0.10 mg or more and 4.00 mg or less of magnesium. Also the beverages composition or the like preferably contains further a sweetener and/or a fruit juice.
