PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detector and an X-ray CT apparatus capable of preventing temperature rise in a detection module having a sealed structure.SOLUTION: The X-ray detector comprises: a detection module 70 that includes a substrate 71 on which are mounted an X-ray transducer 72 for converting an X-ray into an electrical signal and an ADC 73 for converting the electrical signal from an analog signal into a digital signal, and that generates data by conversion into digital signal a shielding member 85 that is disposed to surround the detection module 70, allows X-rays to pass therethrough, and shields light in a wavelength region to be converted by the X-ray transducer 72 a cable 80 for transmitting the data generated by the detection module 70 and a heat radiation member 81 having a thermal conductivity.
