PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiobestic agent, a lipolysis promoter, a fat cell differentiation inhibitor, a blood neutral fat increase inhibitor and an adiponectin production promoter that can be daily continuously taken and is highly effective and highly safe.
SOLUTION: The antiobestic agent and the like comprise extracts from devils claw. The preparation form can be selected from various kinds of preparation forms, but an internal medicine is preferable, in particular. The dosage depends on the purpose of use, age, body weight and the like, and preferably 0.02-20 mg/kg, and particularly preferably 0.1-10 mg/kg. The agents act on obesity multilaterally to exhibit excellent improving effects and therefore, are useful for pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, foods and drinks, cosmetics and the like used for the purpose of prevention and amelioration of obesity and life style-related diseases related to obesity.
