The invention concerns an indirect ophthalmoscopy lens device (1) used for observing the eye, the device (1) comprising a body (10) for supporting and positioning a plurality of lenses relative to each other, said plurality of lenses comprising: - a contact lens (20) having a concave outer face (21) and a convex inner face (22), said outer face (21) substantially conforming to the shape of the corneal surface of the eye, - an anterior lens (30), the contact lens (20) and the anterior lens (30) being positioned and supported relative to each other inside the body (10). The body (10) is designed to allow the contact lens (20) to be positioned on the corneal surface of the eye that is to be examined.
