PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-decolorizing agent or oxidative hair-dyeing agent having suitable viscosity on its use, excellent in extensibility on treating, preventing the liquid from dripping, also preventing the damage of the hair by the treatment and also excellent in touch feeling of the hair after the treatment.SOLUTION: This hair-decolorizing agent or oxidative hair-dyeing agent contains (a) a polyoxyethylene-cured castor oil, (b) an amino acid and/or (c) &ge1 kind selected from a group consisting of ascorbic acid, an ascorbic acid derivative, tocopherol and a tocopherol derivative. As the component (b), cysteine is preferably used.
