The current invention named as Aero-Adsorber, is a portable device that can be used to control air pollution at small stationary sources, like cooking stove, open burning, etc. It can be placed over a cooking stove that uses wood as a fuel and thus reduce the smoke and pollution levels. In rural as well as urban India it is a common practice to burn wood and coal outdoors and use it as a heater during winters which causes increase in PM2.5, SOx and NOx levels, this equipment can be placed over the burning coal and wood and thus reduce the pollution levels. In all the developing countries, burning is the most common method of disposing solid waste and it has a severe impact on the air quality, the equipment invented can just be placed over such burning solid waste and thus control the air pollution at the source itself. The equipment does not consume any energy and it works on the principle of adsorption. A wide variety of organic materials viz. sugarcane bagasse, orange peels, acacia leaves and tea waste can be used as adsorbents.
