To provide a primary packaging material for a medicinal substance which reduces risks of mixture of particles or bacteria and minimizes manufacturing labor or costs of manufacture.SOLUTION: A primary packaging material includes a hollow body (1) and a closure (2). The hollow body (1) includes cycloolefin polymer or cycloolefin copolymer and has an opening (3). The closure (2) closes the opening (3), includes normal elastomers and/or thermoplastic elastomers, and has a piercing area (4) to be used in order to introduce a cannula in the hollow body (1).
