To provide a surgical torque wrench that is easily cleaned while being miniaturized.SOLUTION: A surgical torque wrench 1 includes: a main body 10 having a head 11 where a screw 60 is connected and a cylindrical body 12 extending from the head 11； a main shaft 30 having elasticity, inserted into a body part 12 and being held to the body part 12； and a scale part 40. In the body part 12, a notch 22 having a width larger than the smallest width of an outer shape in the cross section vertical to the longitudinal direction of the main shaft 30 is formed from the edge at the side opposite to the head 11 to a predetermined position along the extending direction. The end at the side opposite to the head 11 of the main shaft 30 is protruded outside from the edge at the side opposite to the head 11 in the body part 12.
