The invention relates to a screen made of radiation shielding material for protecting an operator from ionising radiation, which screen (1) comprises: (i) a lower part (2) equipped with a front wall (6) made of radiation shielding material, which comprises an upper border (8)； (ii) an upper part (3) equipped with a front wall (20) made of a radiation shielding material, at least one part (26) of which is transparent, which front wall (20) comprises a lower border (22)； and (iii) at least one passage (27) for the arms of the operator.
