The present invention relates to novel cationic microparticles having a diameter between 1 nm and 100 &mgr； m, the shell of which comprises: one or more polymer(s) chosen from polycaprolactone, polylactic acid, ethyl cellulose, polymethyl methacrylate and an acrylates-ammonium methacrylate copolymer； and a stabilizer chosen from hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, benzethonium chloride, polyvinyl alcohol and aminodextran； the stabilizer/polymer weight ratio being between 0.001 and 0.5. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing these microparticles, and the use thereof for the preparation of cosmetotextiles.
