The present invention provides antibodies, antigen-binding antibody fragments (Fab), and other protein scaffolds for human activated protein C (aPC) that binds at least to a zymogen protein C (PC). In addition, such aPC binding protein can induce clotting by potentially blocking the anticoagulant activity of aPC.
