PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing DCs (Dendritic Cells) comprising the culturing of DC progenitor cells under the presence of two or more cytokines, to provide the produced dendritic cells, and to provide a use of the produced dendritic cells.SOLUTION: We found out that DCs with high IL-12 (interleukin-12) production ability can be obtained by culturing DC progenitor cells for about one week under the presence of GM-CSF (granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor) and IL-4, the DC progenitor cells being cells having been subjected to culturing under the presence of two or more cytokines. Since the invention enables DCs in a large amount and with high IL-12 production ability to be obtained from a small amount of DC progenitor cells, the number of DCs to be administered can be increased easily in antitumor immunotherapy and infection therapy using DCs, enhanced effect of DC vaccine is expected.【課題】本発明は、複数のサイトカインの存在下でDC前駆細胞を培養する工程を含む、DCの製造方法、製造された樹状細胞およびその利用を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明者らは、複数のサイトカインの存在下でDC前駆細胞を培養した後、GM-CSF及びIL-4の存在下で1週間程度培養を行うことにより、IL-12産生能の高い樹状細胞が得られることを見出した。本発明により、少ないDC前駆細胞から大量の、かつIL-12産生能の高いDCを得ることが可能となるので、DCを用いた抗腫瘍免疫療法および感染症治療などにおいて投与するDC数を増やすことが容易になり、DCワクチンの効果の増大が期待される。【選択図】なし
