FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, namely to device and methods of delivery of pollen in process of directed pollination during growing of maize plants. Device for directed pollination of maize plant comprises rigid tube with first end, second end and channel set between them. Rigid tube is made to accommodate whisk of maize plant through hole near first end and interaction with axis of cob of maize plant near second end. Channel formed by rigid tube determines distance between whisk and cob axis to allow transfer of pollen from whisk to cob axle. Rigid tube can be made telescopic to allow adjustment of total length of rigid tube. Device has insulating bags, one of which is attached to first end of rigid tube to accommodate whisk of maize plant, second insulating bag is attached to second end to accommodate cob of maize plant. Device can contain fan to direct air to whisk in assistance to pollen transfer over channel to cob axis.
