Method for the cultivation of insects, which includes the steps of: (a) providing a plurality of boxes (9)； (b) filling at least a portion of each box of the plurality of boxes with a substrate, containing feed, and immature phases of insects； (c) provide a climatic area (3) with an aeration system and place the plurality of boxes in the climatic area； (d) provide a conveyor system (21) to recover boxes from the plurality of boxes in the climatic area and optionally to return them thereto； (e) provide an observation system (27) along the conveyor system to obtain observations, with data and measurements； (f) providing a feed supply station (31) along the conveyor system, downstream of the observation system； (g) aerate the substrate and immature phases of insects with the aeration system, when they are in the climatic area； (h) periodically recover at least one individual box of the plurality of boxes with the conveyor system of the climatic area and pass it to the observation system； (i) obtain an observation of the substrate and the immature phases of the insects in the at least one recovered box； (j) interpret the observation of a recovered individual box and determine a requirement to add a quantity of supplementary feed and a reason to remove the larger crop insects to harvest or discard the additional crop； (k) when a quantity of supplementary feed has been determined in step (j), return the recovered individual box to the climatic area via the feed supply station； (l) when a reason for withdrawal has been determined in step (j), transfer the recovered individual box to an area to harvest and an area to discard； and (m) repeat steps (g) to (l) for as long as at least one of the plurality of boxes remains in the climatic area.Método para el cultivo de insectos, que incluye los pasos de: (a) proporcionar una pluralidad de cajas (9)； (b) llenar al menos una porción de cada caja de la pluralidad de cajas con un sustrato, que contiene pienso, y fases inmaduras de l
