In order to provide effective and rapid absorption of a water soluble herbal juice with a high active substance content, the juice in the form of a dispersible tablet has been described. The major objective of this invention is to provide a beverage in solid dispersible system ( Tablet) comprising of water soluble herbal juice powder ( 300mg per tablet and the total weight of the tablet being about 500mg) which couldj be used as a diuretic and an antihyperlipidemic, which has a dissolution time under 2 minutes in water and which has been formulated by the direct compression technique. This has been achieved by the rapid uptake of water followed by rapid and enormous swelling and dissolution in water within the said time period. The tablet contains the functional disintegrants and additives. This system quickly forms clear solution and gives natural flavour in water.
