PURPOSE: A Labdane-type Diterpenoids Compound derived from Hedychium coronarium is provided to prevent the formation and activation of LPS-stimulated inflammatory cytokine, thereby treating and preventing sepsis and autoimmune diseases.CONSTITUTION: A Labdane-type Diterpenoids Compound derived from Hedychium coronarium for treating and preventing sepsis and autoimmune diseases contains the extract of Hedychium coronarium which suppresses the generation of LPS-stimulated Pro-inflammatory Cytokines. The LPS-stimulated inflammatory Cytokine is TNF-&alpha, IL-6, or IL-12. The extract of Hedychium coronarium includes compounds as an active ingredient.
