An implantable medical device (100) is tethered to a delivery catheter (300) by a length of a tether (480), which extends through an attachment feature (109, 121) of the device and between a free end (482) and a secured end, wherein the secured end is fixedly coupled to a tubular member (420) of the catheter in proximity to a distal end (422) thereof and the free end can be engaged against an inner surface of a sidewall that extends within the tubular member. The free end of the tether may be engaged against the inner surface by an enlarged distal tip of an elongate wire that extends within a lumen defined by the inner surface of the sidewall. An operator may move the distal tip of the wire out through a distal opening of the lumen, thereby pushing the free end of the tether out from engagement with the surface to untether the device from the catheter.La présente invention concerne un dispositif médical implantable attaché à un cathéter de mise en place par une longueur dun câble dattache, qui sétend à travers une caractéristique de fixation du dispositif et entre une extrémité libre de celle-ci et une extrémité fixe de celle-ci, lextrémité fixe étant couplée de manière fixe à un élément tubulaire du cathéter à proximité dune extrémité distale de celui-ci, et lextrémité libre étant engagée contre une surface intérieure dune paroi latérale qui sétend à lintérieur de lélément tubulaire. Lextrémité libre du câble dattache peut être engagée contre la surface interne par une pointe distale élargie dun fil allongé qui sétend au sein dune lumière définie par la surface intérieure de la paroi latérale.
