The present invention relates to a composition comprising mojabanchromanol b as an active ingredient for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The composition of the present invention is effective in preventing and treating atopic dermatitis by reducing an amount of IFN-&gamma； and IL-4 secretion by at least 80%. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: (1) extracting mojabanchromanol b from Myagropsis myagroides； (2) filtering an extract of mojabanchromanol b； and (3) freeze-drying the extract of mojabanchromanol b.본 발명은 모자반크로마놀 b를 유효성분으로 포함하는 아토피 예방 또는 치료용 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물은 IFN-γ 및 IL-4의 분비량을 80% 이상 감소시킴으로써 아토피의 예방 및 치료에 효과적이다.
