PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent waist side ends from being bent outward in a fastening type disposable diaper.
SOLUTION: The diaper includes a waist band 80 which is projected toward both sides of the width direction from the center of the width direction in the waist end sides on the outer surface of a belly side part F, so as to allow the distal ends to be fitted to a back side part B. When a user wears the diaper, the first and second body parts 82, 82 of the waist band 80 are respectively stretched in the respective sides of the width direction to the waist side ends on the outer surface of the back side part B through the waist side ends on the outer surface of the belly side part F. Then, the respective distal ends 83 are fitted to the waist side ends on the outer surface of the back side part B by fitting means 84 to wear the diaper.
