A method of toning skin on a human patient's neck. The method includesapplying a beam to an exterior surface of a portion of the skin of the neck.The beamcomprises at least one of infrared light waves, ultrasound waves, and lowfluenceradiofrequency waves. The beam is configured to tone the portion of the skin.Theportion may include a posterior portion of the skin of the neck. In suchembodiments,the beam tones the posterior portion causing the posterior portion to pull onand tightenan anterior portion of the skin. The portion of the skin may include acircumferentialportion that extends circumferentially completely around the neck. The skin isdivisiblecircumferentially around the neck into a plurality of sections that eachextend onlypartway around the neck. The beam may be applied to each of the plurality ofsectionsseparately.
