PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of retaining freshness in a growing state without deterioration and remarkably extending freshness of vegetables, Chinese medicine and plants such as flowers in a growing state.SOLUTION: A method for raising plants includes: by means of a plant raising device which includes a raising space 2 and a liquid fertilizer tank 3a formed in a plant raising box body 1, a cultivation bed 4 arranged in the liquid fertilizer tank 3a, a medium 5 allowing to implant seeds and seedlings of plants (A) stored in many medium holes, a carbon dioxide gas supplying device 6, a temperature setting device 7, an artificial lighting device 8 radiating artificial light, and a control means 9 irradiating plants with artificial light of a light wavelength of 350-500 nm and a light wavelength of 600-750 nm at a luminous intensity that is stronger than that of another light wavelength with the artificial lighting device 8 setting a luminous intensity ratio on artificial light of a light wavelength of 350-500 nm and a light wavelength of 600-750 nm raising the plants by making the whole luminous intensity variable in a state of retaining a luminous intensity ratio and after raising, preserving the plants by weakening a luminous intensity in a state of retaining the luminous intensity ratio.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】生育状態のまま劣化させることなく鮮度を保つことができ、更に、野菜、漢方薬、花等の植物の鮮度を生育状態のまま画期的に延長させるものである。【解決手段】植物育成函体1に形成した育成空間2と液体肥料槽3aと、液体肥料槽3aに配設された栽培床4と、多数の培地用穴に収納された植物Aの種や苗を植え付け可能な培地5と、炭酸ガス供給装置6と、温度設定装置7と、人工光を照射させる人工照明装置8と、制御手段9とを備えた植物育成装置を用いて、人工照明装置8により光波長350~500nmと光波長600~750nmとの人工光を他の光波長より強い光度で照射し、光波長350~500nmと光波長600~750nmとの人工光に光度比を設定し、光度比を維持させた状態で全体の光度の可変をさせて育成させ、育成後は光度比を維持させた状態で光度を弱めて保存する。【選択図】 図1
