PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent having effect of inhibiting the increase of white hair due to free radical or singlet oxygen.SOLUTION: A hair treatment agent comprises [A] a burnet extract, [B] vitamin E, [C] a hop extract, [D] an oxidant and [E] water. It is preferable that a blending ratio of [A] the burnet extract is 1 to 35 pts.mass based on dry mass, a blending ratio of [B] the vitamin E is 1 to 35 pts.mass and a blending ratio of [C] the hop extract is 1 to 35 pts.mass based on dry mass, with respect to 100 pts.mass of [D] the oxidant.
