Provided are a medical lead wire structure and a method for making the same. The front segment of the core wire is made into a long and thin shape having increasingly shrinking diameter. The ring surface of the long and thin rod is provided with a plurality of integrally formed protruding fin parts arranged with proper spacing distance. The head end of the long and thin rod is provided with a head end portion. A spiral coil, with an inner diameter roughly similar to the core wire protruding fin part and the head end portion, penetrates the front segment of the core wire, thereby making the protruding fins of the core wire against the inner ring surface and making at least one coil sleeved upon the head end portion of the core wire. Then, the coils sleeved upon the head end portion and the head end portion are combined into one body in a welding manner, thereby making the spiral coils capable of utilizing protruding pins and the head end portion fixedly sleeved the exterior of the core wire with same axis. In this way, the front segment of the core wire is easy to produce and the spiral coil is also easy to assemble and combine, thereby making the front end of the lead wire have excellent flexibility and recovery and substantially raising the integral manipulation of the lead wire.
