PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation-reduction catalyst which is useful as a catalyst for an electrode and a nitrogen oxide removing catalyst; an electrode material containing the oxidation-reduction catalyst; an electrode obtained by using the electrode material; a solar battery and a fuel cell provided with the electrode; and a nitrogen oxide removing catalyst containing the oxidation-reduction catalyst.SOLUTION: The oxidation-reduction catalyst has a metal nanoparticle carried by a specific carbon nanotube. The electrode material containing the oxidation-reduction catalyst, the electrode obtained by using the electrode material, the solar battery and the fuel cell provided with the electrode, and the nitrogen oxide removing catalyst containing the oxidation-reduction catalyst are also disclosed.
