The present invention provides a tableting apparatus having a surface-modifying coating layer for improving releasing property, and a method for forming a surface-modifying coating layer. The tableting apparatus comprises an upper punch, a lower punch, and a mold (die) in which a tablet is compressed by the upper punch and the lower punch, wherein an upper punch tip, a lower punch tip, and the mold (die) include a surface-modifying coating layer for improving releasing property.
