PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which a rotation position is power-sensitively grasped according to a relative rotation position between an operation part and an insertion part.
SOLUTION: The endoscope includes an insertion part 12 and an operation part 16. The insertion part 12 has an insertion part side connection part set on a proximal end part of the insertion part 12 and having an insertion part side exterior 19, and a bending part 14 set on a distal end part of the insertion part 12 and being bend-operated to the insertion part side exterior 19. The operation part 16 has a bending operation member 21 for bend-operating the bending part 14 and an operation part side connection part which is connected to the insertion part side connection part so that the insertion part 12 is turnable centering on a longitudinal axis of the insertion part 12 relative to the operartion part 16, and has the operation part side exterior having a predetermined positional relationship relative to the bending operation member 21. Furthermore, an index means which is formed of the insertion part side exterior 19 and the operation part side exterior and makes a bending direction of the bending part 14 to the bending operation member 21 be recognized by indicating a turning position of the insertion part 12 to the operation part 16 is provided.
