The systemcomprisesa patient glucose measuring device for measuring a glucose concentration fromthepatient, a patient notification device for notifying the patient, and apatient electronicdevice. The patient electronic device is configured for activating the patientnotification device followed by presenting one or more instructions on theinterfacefor guiding the patient to provide lifestyle information via an input device.The one ormore instructions are patient-specific as a function of a level of guidancerequired fora given patient, the lifestyle information comprising at least one of mealinformation,insulin delivery information for insulin, and physical state information.
