Disclosed is a method for measuring the depth of airway surface liquid by using a fluorescent microscopic image. The method for measuring the depth of airway surface liquid according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a fluorescent microscopic image including an airway surface liquid region converting the fluorescent microscopic image into a binary image dividing the binary image into a plurality of subsections generating a histogram of pixel values for each subsection calculating the depths of the airway surface liquid included in each subsection on the basis of the change in pixel values of the histogram and calculating the average value for at least some of the calculated depths of the airway surface liquid region.형광 현미경 이미지를 이용한 기도 표면액 깊이 측정 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 기도 표면액 깊이 측정 방법은 기도 표면액(Airway Surface liquid) 영역을 포함하는 형광 현미경 이미지를 입력받는 단계, 상기 형광 현미경 이미지를 이진화된 이미지로 변환하는 단계, 상기 이진화된 이미지를 복수의 서브섹션(subsection)으로 분할하는 단계, 각각의 서브섹션의 픽셀값에 대한 히스토그램을 생성하는 단계, 상기 히스토그램의 픽셀값 변화에 기초하여 상기 각각의 서브섹션에 포함된 기도 표면액 영역의 깊이를 산출하는 단계 및 상기 산출된 기도 표면액 영역의 깊이 중 적어도 일부에 대한 평균값을 산출하는 단계를 포함한다.
