Przesunięcie ramki sterującej (1), wzdłuż płyty stołu o dowolną wielkość, powoduje, że w wyniku działania sterownika (3) współpracującego z siłownikiem, płyta stołu przemieszcza się w kierunku góra - dół. Zastosowanie ramki sterującej poprzez likwidację pilota nożnego czy ręcznego, do których dostęp był ograniczony przez długość i położenie przewodu połączeniowego do ściśle ustalonych miejsc na stole czy platformie, umożliwiła płynne sterowanie z dowolnego miejsca płytą stołu, podczas masażu czy leczenia.
