PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, miniaturized and highly reliable endoscope with high efficiency suitable for treatment of intracorporeal disease and without requiring a light source generating a large quantity of heat, or a control knob, or battery workings.SOLUTION: The distal end of a soft tube of the endoscope includes an LED assembly, a CCD camera or an image guide bundle, and a work channel for inserting a treatment instrument. The LED assembly includes a print circuit board having a heat sink structure, and LED lighting parts 2 and 3 mounted on the print circuit board. Electric power is suitably distributed to the respective LED lighting parts 2 and 3 from a power feeding part 100 including connecting/disconnecting means 104a-104d to be disconnectably connected to an outside power supply, voltage adjusting means 103a-103d, and overcurrent shutting means 102a-102d.
