PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue dissecting instrument for providing a barrier between a target tissue and proximal tissues so that the target tissue is separated from the proximal tissues and the proximal tissues are not greatly affected during electrosurgical procedures.SOLUTION: An introducer 10 that is coaxially connected to a cannula and movable from a retreat position to an elongated position through the cannula includes an approximately annular lumen 12 disposed to be in fluid communication with an expansion port 24 operatively disposed on the introducer and an expandable balloon 22 connected to the introducer. The expandable balloon can move from a contracted state for disposing the introducer to adjoin the target tissue to an expanded state for providing the barrier so that the target tissue is separated from the proximal tissues NT and the proximal tissues are not affected during the electrosurgical procedures between the target tissue and the proximal tissues.【課題】標的組織を近傍組織から分離するため、および電気外科手術処置の間に近傍組織が大きな影響を受けないようにその間に障壁を提供するための組織切開器具を提供する。【解決手段】カニューレに同軸に接続され、かつその中を後退位置から伸長位置まで移動可能なイントロデューサ１０は、イントロデューサ上に動作可能に配置された膨張口２４と流体連通し、かつイントロデューサに接続している膨張可能なバルーン２２と流体連通するように配置されたほぼ環状の内腔１２を含む。膨張可能なバルーンは、イントロデューサを標的組織Ｔに隣接して配置するための収縮状態から、標的組織を近傍組織ＮＴから分離するため、および電気外科手術処置の間に近傍組織が影響を受けないようにその間に障壁を提供するための膨張状態まで移動することができる。【選択図】図３
